With over 30 acres, they are one of the best campgrounds in the Texas Hill Country, offering an RV park, tent camping, and cabins.
Camp Huaco Springs RV Park – They have 75 full hook-up RV sites along the Guadalupe River. Each campsite has 30/50/110 amps, as well as a BarBQ grill and a picnic table.
Camp Huaco Springs Tent Camping – They have 49 tent sites with electricity located along the river’s edge as well as over 50 primitive tent sites.
Camp Huaco Springs Cabins – Camp Huaco Springs offers 3 air-conditioned, free-standing cabins that sleep 2-8 people.

Their size and easy access to the river, make them perfect for large groups. They have 3 pavilions and 2 private areas that can be rented for large gatherings, weddings, reunions, or corporate events. They also offer catering if you need it.
Lazy L&L RV Sites are full hookups and offer 30/50 amps, water, and sewer. Each Campsite includes a picnic table, fire ring, and BBQ Grill.
Lazy L&L Tent Sites include water and electricity, a picnic table, a fire ring, and a BarBQ grill. They also offer primitive camping options, no water, no electricity, and no amenities.
Lazy L&L offers full-service tubing accommodations, from tube rentals to transportation. They can take care of all of your tubing needs. No need to go anywhere else.
Fishing on the Guadalupe River – The Guadalupe River is listed as America’s 100 Best Trout Streams allowing for year-round fishing. The best time for trout fishing is after the summer tubing season ends.
There is no fee for fishing if you are staying at Lazy L&L Campground. Otherwise, there is a $10 fee.
Monthly rates are available for winter Texans who want to stay for an extended time.

KL Ranch Camp – On the River is a family-owned and operated campground on River Road in New Braunfels Texas. They are known for their exceptional customer service as well as prime river access, scenic views, and spacious campsites.

Fishing on the Guadalupe River: There’s no better way to relax than by fishing on the Guadalupe River. KL Ranch Camp offers 1/2 mile of riverfront property perfect for fishing. You can fish right from your campsite, or find a quiet place among the shade trees.
You can also launch your kayak or paddle board from your campsite and paddle to find your very own secret fishing hole.
What Species of Fish will You Catch on the Guadalupe River?
The Guadalupe River is home to many species of fish including but not limited to, Rainbow Trout, Largemouth Bass, Smallmouth Bass, Carp, Channel Catfish, Guadalupe Bass, and more.

Mountain Breeze Campground

Kids are allowed but. bear in mind that, this is an adult party campground. It is not recommended to bring kids on holiday weekends.
Mountain Breeze Campground is a 15-acre campground located on the beautiful Guadalupe River along River Road just outside of New Braunfels. Each campsite has access to the river. They also offer sand volleyball and horseshoes so there is fun for the whole family.
They offer an onsite grill, general store, and bar. Cowboy Mikes Grill is open on the weekends for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Their menu features burgers, salads, pizza, breakfast tacos, and more.
General Store + Bar offers Mountain Breeze merchandise like t-shirts, koozies, stickers, and coolers.
Toobing: This is the perfect location if you are looking to float the Guadalupe River. Tubes and rafts are available at Mountain Breeze Camp for rent on a daily basis. Your rental fee includes equipment, parking, and unlimited shuttle rides for that day.
Tubes: $25/person
Cooler Tubes: $10/cooler tube
Rafts: $35/person
Fishing: The first 15 miles of the Guadalupe River below the Canyon Lake Dam is the best trout fishing area. This is the area where Mountain Breeze Campground is located and the only year-round trout fishery in Texas.
You must have a valid Texas State Fishing license to fish and there is a $5.00 charge per person per day for fishing.

Floating the horseshoe Bend is one of our favorite places to float the Guadalupe River because it doesn’t require a shuttle service. This part of the river also tends to be less crowded.
