New Braunfels Coffee
My Recommendation: Jalapeño Cheese Kolache and a Dirty Chai Latte
Located in the heart of downtown New Braunfels, New Braunfels Coffee is known for its excellent selection of high-quality coffee drinks and delicious baked goods.
The menu at New Braunfels Coffee includes a wide range of coffee drinks, from glass drip coffee to specialty coffee drinks like cafe au lait, lattes, cappuccino, chai tea, and frappes.
In addition to coffee, they also serve a selection of delicious baked goods including pastries, cinnamon rolls, and jalapeño cheese kolaches! I mean, who wouldn’t love that?
Pro Tip! You really need to put this coffee shop at the top of your list. If for no other reason than the Jalapeño Cheese Kolaches. They are incredible – definitely one of the best things I have eaten in my life. And if you read my blog, you know I have never said that about anything else.
The sausage has a great flavor without being Hot and spicy. But the real star of the show is the bread. It is a super flakey almost crescent-like bread. You’ll want to pick up a few extra to keep in your hotel. Just a few seconds in the microwave and they are perfect.

Wicked Voodoo Espresso
My Recommendation: Any of their scones and a Princess Coffee (White Chocolate, Lavender, and Coconut)
Wicked Voodoo Espresso is a family-owned coffee shop that values freshly roasted coffee and warm friendly service.
This is such a cute coffee shop in the newer Creekside area of New Braunfels. Their coffee is delicious and the staff is super helpful.
I order the “Princess” which is delicious coffee with white chocolate, lavender, and coconut. It is delicious. I really love sweet coffee drinks and this was right up my alley. If you prefer a less sweet option they can adjust the sweetness for you.
And you know I love a good banana nut muffin and theirs is incredible – super moist without too strong of a banana flavor and it’s HUGE! Their scones are also a great option. They are a little different from your typical scone in that they aren’t super dry, which I really appreciate.
They serve wicked delicious coffee, ethically sourced, and specialty coffee perfect for all coffee connoisseurs.
Their menu features a wide array of coffee drinks as well as iced and blended drinks, They also offer baked goods and breakfast tacos, delivered daily from NB Torillaria.
