Stir together all ingredients for spice mix in a medium bowl and set aside.
Toast pecans on cookie sheet in 350° oven for 6-8 minutes.
Place hot cookie sheet on wire rack and let cool.
Meanwhile, in a heavy sauce pan, bring butter, rum, vanilla and brown sugar to a boil, stirring constantly, over medium heat.
Add pecans to rum mixture and stir with silicone spatula until the pecans absorb the rum mixture. about a minute
Transfer glazed pecans to the bowl with spice mixture. Stir until pecans are well coated.
Return warm spiced pecans to the parchment lined cookie sheet to cool.
